I love this quote! I always used to worry about being overdressed for things, saving my nicest things for only special occasions etc.. but I love how in the world of fashion blogging, there are no limits!

Same to the over-educated concept – I will never stop learning!

I love this quote! I see the second part being about educating yourself about not just what’s in books, but also learning about other people, cultures, new hobbies etc. There is just so much to learn!

This made me chuckle because just yesterday I posted about how us Italians wake up, shop, eat, and breathe, in that order …and don’t believe in over dressing. Both parts of this saying go hand in hand because a well educated lady (or man) will most likely have the confidence and intelligence to know that anyone who judges you solely based on what you’re wearing (be it over dressed or under dressed) is not getting the whole picture.

This is one of my all-time favorite quotes! The first part goes without saying, but I think it’s the second part that most people forget about! And as long as you have the right, humble and gracious attitude about both, then you’re good to go. Now, if you start thinking that the overdressing and education gives you some sort of entitlement, then yes, there is such a thing as too much.
