I actually just started using Depop myself to sell items from my own closet as well as those that we have used for photoshoots! I think it’s a great app and allows you to set your price. Depending on the amount a product was used or how many seasons old it is, you can adust your price. I actually ordered from Chiara and I cannot wait to get my flats in the mail! The photos you take make all the difference and Depop is great about giving you tips and a chance to be featured on the explore page if you do it right! Having seen success from quality photos on my IG as well as my blog, since mine is very image heavy, I find this is the best way to sell products securely. Plus, they use PayPal for payment which is my trusted site. The percentage they take is minimal, 10%. Happy shopping!

In reply to Linda. Does Depop take a percentage of each sale made? I've been using Poshmark for a while now. Their virtual Posh parties make it easy for shoppers to discover your closet. However the percentage they take is a little steep. Melody

I’ve been using Depop for quite for some time now, but I don’t really like it. Even though it’s easy to use, it’s hard selling things if you’re not a blogger or someone with a big following on social media. It’s hard to make people notice your stuff. It’s not like you can be extremely creative with your hashtags. The only reason I use it is because sites like Poshmark aren’t available for non-US residents.
